Counsellor Supervision

Are you a counsellor looking for supervision?

Counsellor Supervision is an essential process that provides the space within which the theoretical, experiential and practical aspects of your work can be explored.

I have been offering supervision for the last 19 years. I am an Accredited Supervisor with NAPCP. I offer supervision to counsellors in private practice as well as student counsellors in training. I have also offered group supervision to several work teams. I am currently a supervisor with It’s Good to Talk here in Wexford.

My aim in supervision is to:

  • provide you with a safe space to explore your work with your clients to gain a greater understanding of the process
  • to allow you the space to explore the more vulnerable side or ‘shadow’ part of you as a therapist/counsellor
  • grow your professional confidence and broaden your skill set thereby better equipping you to help your clients.

I provide supervision for the following:

  • Counsellors in training
  • Counsellors working towards accreditation
  • Domestic violence workers
  • Men working with the perpetrators of domestic violence
  • Individual private counsellors
  • Student social workers on placement in alcohol and drug agencies
  • Nursing students on placement in alcohol and drug agencies
